Combo bonuses
The bonus multiplies the whole total: the treasure’s base price plus its gems. Combos go by gem color only.

How it works
- Base price
- Every treasure has a price the merchant pays for it as it is.
- Gems
- Each gem adds its own value. Round slots take Ruby, Sapphire and Yellow Diamond; square slots take Emerald, Alexandrite and Red Beryl.
- Combo bonus
- With every slot filled, the colors decide a bonus from ×1.1 to ×2.0 on the whole total, rounded to the nearest peseta.

Questions
What is the best gem combination in RE4 Remake?
The biggest bonus is Five Colors (×2.0), but the best combination depends on the treasure. On the Elegant Crown, two Yellow Diamonds and three Red Beryls (Duo & Trio, ×1.8) sell for 108,000 Ptas., more than its best Five Colors set at 100,000 Ptas., because Red Beryl is the most valuable gem. The table above lists the best combination for every treasure.
Do I need to fill every slot to get a bonus?
Yes. A combo bonus only counts when every slot of the treasure holds a gem. With a slot left empty, the merchant pays the treasure’s base price plus the value of the gems in it.
Which gems fit round and square slots?
Round slots take Ruby, Sapphire and Yellow Diamond. Square slots take Emerald, Alexandrite and Red Beryl. Each shape has its own three colors, so no treasure can reach Quintet or Quartet: they need four or five gems of one color.
Should I sell gems on their own or set them in a treasure?
Set them when you can fill every slot. Sold separately, the Flagon (4,000 Ptas.) and its best gems, two Yellow Diamonds (14,000 Ptas.), bring 18,000 Ptas. Set in the Flagon, the same gems sell for 21,600 Ptas.
